*This was an old post that was half-done and should have been finished last month, but I never got to it. So crazy to read this back and see how happy and hopeful I was for the end of the year and the start of a new one… Life is funny.*
October and November:
October and November have been very good to me, even though the world seems to be in the midst of a dumpster fire. As this old capitalistic empire experiences its last death rattle, I feel calmer and more focused than ever. It feels like I’ve been waiting my entire life for something to happen, and now it’s happening.

Life:
Life has been chugging along, and I am super happy right now. It feels jarring, considering the world is falling into complete chaos around me, but I feel still and calm—like I’ve been prepping my entire life for this. My socials are growing, I’m doubling down on my intellect and the community I know I can create.
My boyfriend is waiting to hear back from nursing school, got a job working in a care facility, and I’ve never been more sure that I’m building a life with the love of my life. In his words, “A real man does whatever he has to do,” and that’s exactly what he’s showing me—dependable, loving, and genuine. Almost seven years down and a million more to go.
My family is great—closer and healthier than ever, more loving than ever, even though 2025 will mark 10 years since I found out my parents were getting a divorce. It’s strange when your personal life doesn’t reflect the current state of things, but in this case, I’m okay with it.
Health:
I turn 29 exactly a month from when I’m writing this, and I’m excited. Although I had to pause my 75 Hard, I’m committed to continuing my focus on health and building the routines I need for a long, happy life. I still indulge, but I’m more confident than ever about cleaning up my habits and doing what makes me feel my best.
I walk every morning with my sister at 6 a.m. or 6:30, depending on the day, for at least 1 to 1.5 hours. I feel great, but I think I’m going to add hot yoga as a birthday gift to myself—I need it.
Food:
Nothing in particular stood out to me this month… mostly just holiday food. Everyone brought their A-game this season—seems like such a long time ago!
