Bloodstained Podcast Explained
Everything you should expect from the Bloodstained Podcast coming Feb 2024
Hello Hello Hello,
It is FINALLY time for me to stop isolating myself and begin to process of letting you know what I have been working on for the past almost seven months, my audio/visual podcast called “Bloodstained”.
“Bloodstained” is my child, it is me deciding to rise to the occasion and show up fully for my creative mind and I am incredibly proud of the work I have been doing. It is an accessible podcast that discusses historical topics and institutions through the lens of True Crime. A true amalgamation of the two original tenets of the Madiswan True Crime Channel:
Highlighting True Crime Stories that NEVER get any shine due to the victims being from marginalized communities.
Widening the definition of what a True Crime story is or can be based on the dictionary definition of the genre:
based on this definition from Dictionary.com most anything in this capitalist society could be discussed through the lens of True Crime. Hence “Bloodstained”, my Frankenstein creation.
“Bloodstained” Season 1 is a deep dive into the institution of slavery and discussing it thematically through a True Crime lens. Yes, you heard that right….we are tackling the “Slavery” conversation.
Each episode will drop once a month at the beginning of each month starting in February 2024. Here is the episode breakdown below (not the real episode titles):
